Underground grease interceptors required unless health department grants a variance. If trap is found needing pumping, establishment has 10 business days to comply. All pumper companies must be permitted by the city and use City of Amarillo Manifests. Pumpers must leave a manifest copy at facility. Program enforced since 2010. New installations required at change of owner, change of use, or extensive remodel.
